Eyes Without a Face lands at seven and Rebel Yell waits all the way until fourteen, which leaves Steve Stevens the whole middle of the night to himself — a solo spot that runs through Zeppelin and Van Halen before Mony Mony drags the room back. Three years on, Stevens and Idol both go into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Opening a Vegas residency on Viva Las Vegas is the kind of joke you can only make in that building.
